Good news!

We received Jackson's enzyme level results today - up to 0.3!! Last test was 0.1, so this is a great improvement. We should get the donor cell count results early next week, which will give us a better idea of whether this was a fluke or if it could be a sustainable level. Grow cells grow!

Either way, it seems that we can delay our trip out to Duke for at least another month. I'll update again next week with the donor cell count, but for now we can all breathe a medium-sized sigh of relief :).

  1. Congratulations on the enzyme level! I hope this means we will see Jackson at summer school. Emma and I started back last week with the Autisum camp. She had a great time the first week, and is now on a family trip. I got to go camping with my boys and learned how to ride a motorcycle. I look forward to hearing stories about your family adventures soon. Keep up the good work Jackson

  2. Longtime lurker...I check in every few months. Tonight I feel compelled to write because I became so frustrated that my daughter would not go to sleep tonight and now I feel guilty after checking in and seeing your most recent roller coaster ride. Quite simply you and Marshall and especially Jackson are so incredibly brave! I said a "grow cells grow" prayer and will continue to do so!
